I would suggest that all MAC users do reset their MACs before they sell or give away, a standard procedures to remove all private info, including applications.  Additionally, they would need the original owner to share their Apple ID and/or passcode to use the MAC.  Yes some may do this but I would suggest this is not standard mode of operation.

Inspired by a grey-scale design I saw on a stock vector website I decided to try and make a colour version of my own, and here’s the result.
It’s not the most amazing illustration ever made, by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m actually quite happy with my shadows this time.
All done in Designer, and a nice little practice exercise.

I considered the mini and did a price comparison and ability to configure RAM.  I decided, see my signature, the iMac was my best choice, configured for the next five years, I hope.  I also enjoy the 5K, 27” monitor.  The machine works great with AP.  The Beach Ball of death is rarely seen in any operations.  I also was able to purchase RAM significantly lower than Apple’s installed RAM.  To upgrade RAM is five minute task.  That is not possible with the mini.  Many reviews on YouTube for mini.  Cost is always a factor and it hurt a little to go for iMac, but I think in long term, I will benefit from the purchase.  Rumors suggest a new iMac fall 2020 and I guess upgrade to mini.

It is perhaps worth mentioning that only the 27" iMacs have user-upgradable RAM. The 21.5" ones do not, nor does the 2017 iMac Pro (not to be confused with the Mac Pro models). I think this is because, like with the Mini, Apple could not fit a powerful enough cooling system into their cases & still have room for the sockets, doors, etc. to make user upgrades easy enough for typical users to do without risking damaging other parts.
I think if one figures in the cost of a high resolution 27" external monitor comparable to the ones built into the Retina iMacs, the cost difference for a Mini vs. one of those 27" iMacs makes the iMac the better way to go.

@catloverhad discovered that my original macro (recorded in Photo v1.7) will only perform once when using with v1.8. I have recorded that same macro in Photo v1.8 which is included here, as well as in the original posting. It now seems to work as expected.

If they are not saying anything during the tutorial video turn your sound off or down.  Everyone thinks, including Affinity Spotlight tutorials, music is required to provide tutorials, a distraction for many.  Noise pollution.

Cecil reacted to Manofjesus in Grass brush for AP - updated to v.0.2
Hi guys. I want to take part in help for Affinity Photo. Here is custom make grass brushes and example, that was made by me. If you have any comments or ideas to add/fix them - i will adjust/update them.
Each brush - it is not only one image, but at least 3 different variations of it. So when you draw - it draws in series 1,2,3,1,2,3,....like frames in movies - so the grass texture looks more natural and random.
The brush rotates according to drawing direction/route. If you don't need it - got to brush settings Dynamic/Rotation jitter - and set it to ZERO %

2017.12.24 - Version updated to 0.2. See attached pictures for explanations   Also i attach small palette for green hues.
2017.12.18 - They are 4 brushes. First 3 - intensity brushes, and last one - image brush.
