Can we expect a new update?  8 months have passed.
 

When cropping and straightening a photo, sometimes transparent space is left and cropping to eliminate is not desirable option. There are workarounds to fill the transparent pixels.  I would like to suggest adding a Content Aware Fill Layer to the Context Tool Bar.  This, if enabled, would fill in the transparent pixels from averaging nearby pixels or any method development team decides, to fill transparent pixels.  My concern is for the tool, not the method.  Those that don’t need it, don’t tick box to fill.

Or one resource link to download all photos allowing users to select their download folder.  Your work is amazing, hands on practice, priceless. Thank you.

May I suggest an article addressing Affinity Photo and Apple Photos work process, a video would be great and most appreciated.  There are so many post, problem post and clearly frustration by users.

True believer that tags help but solution, IMHO, is separate AP forum by applications.  Many will think we are not entitled to our own. The same response, from the same have and always been against any change.  So this is suck it up post, not going to happen.  If this was such a bad suggestion, the iPad forum would not be separated by applications.  Serif managed to achieve that, so I don’t understand why it’s a problem.  It is true that  individuals can learn form many post that touch on similar operations across platforms.  I just see it as a customer request to allow user to subscribe to their AP application or applications of their interest.  As is, I scroll through 90% or more questions without reading. My choice, many see it as my lost.  Your opinion, my opinion, really not a point of discussion, just a statement on my part.
 

This is totally unacceptable then for Affinity to release a version that will work on the same macOS from the store and not from MAS.  They are totally aware of Apple security and sandboxing.  Peace

Agree with sky replacement and complete rebuild of selection functionality AP software.  Seldom does it select, without the need of Mask to correct.

Please do not take my review as judgmental or negative, as I’m definitely not a professional.  I find the neck muscle or veins exaggerated to the extreme.  Overall a very beautiful painting.

Same. I like the idea of a refinement tool - but it's not nearly consistent enough, it almost always produces undesirable results for me. 

I found this YouTube presentation very interesting and very kind in regard to Affinity Photo RAW processing.

Just been Brush doodling and made a Fluffy cloud brush, only prerequisite is you have to have The Orbs little fluffy clouds playing in the background as this creates the perfect zen state for sky fluffification 😁 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHixChYgGRI
Here is a simple example of the sky fluffer in action lol! I used the luminosity blend mode on the layer because it picks up the sky colour making it look a bit more natural.

You can also use the brush with the eraser tool to make subtractive clouds to further enhance the randomness and interplay between layers, so although I have one layer in the image above creating several layer can get you even more realism.

It would be great if one could export the Brush Library to specific folder with a simple click: Export Brush Library and menu appears to select location.  Sorry this did not answer your question.

I have just advised another new forum member about the common misunderstanding about the use of the Title field in messages. Can I suggest that you include a post in the Frequently Asked Questions forum which explains the proper use of the Title field.I would not necessarily expect new members to read all the FAQ first, but it would help if, when responding to a new user who misinterprets the Title field, members could provide a link to this FAQ post. This would also ensure that we are all giving the same advice.
Ideally the forum software should be modified to avoid the use of the word Title but, until such times, my suggestion could be more easily implemented.

Thanks Alfred, I forgot to mention purchase from Affinity Store and one would need to be logged in to App Store to download and install.
