  1. Please Serif, if possible, change Title to something meaningful: Your Problem, Specify Problem or anything other than Title.
  2. I considered the mini and did a price comparison and ability to configure RAM. I decided, see my signature, the iMac was my best choice, configured for the next five years, I hope. I also enjoy the 5K, 27” monitor. The machine works great with AP. The Beach Ball of death is rarely seen in any operations. I also was able to purchase RAM significantly lower than Apple’s installed RAM. To upgrade RAM is five minute task. That is not possible with the mini. Many reviews on YouTube for mini. Cost is always a factor and it hurt a little to go for iMac, but I think in long term, I will benefit from the purchase. Rumors suggest a new iMac fall 2020 and I guess upgrade to mini.
  3. Short preview of P playing, opening AP. IMG_1999.MP4
  4. My fault completely for not picking a AP copy & paste tutorial.
  5. Make you selection using the selection tool, Edit>Copy, Edit>paste. Move Tool to place image to desired location. Look under Help, Selection and Copy/paste. This is just one method and short cut keys can make the process simpler. Best to read all in Help or YouTube, Affinity Photo Copy and Paste will provide tutorials.
  6. I just tested this on my iPad Pro, 10.5 (iPadIOS 13.4.1) and Pandora plays, without interruption, while opening and editing in Affinity Photo.
  7. It’s V2, located at end of first post.
  8. Windows and MAC have different processes. My wish is command to open a reference image without the need to float on Windows or Separate Mode Mac. Corel Painter has this ability and works great to visualize the original, sample colors, etc.
  9. @John Rostron very nice. Is this just modifying the original download or will you post updated macro? Thank you, your work is outstanding.
  10. The first time I did that for some reason Import would not open, however it did work this go around and I saved to the Library. Thank you.
  11. When I try to import the Macro in Library from Desktop, the file is grayed out. If I drag and drop into open Photo document I get "This file is not Affinity document." What am I'm doing wrong, please. Thank you.
  12. Thank you, great tips. I had to copy your first post YouTude link and then go to YouTude, search and paste. I did subscribe to your channel to eliminate additional task.
  13. Possible security issue for user, anther example to change “Title”.
  14. I always wondered if, after all the recording years behind us, is there truly a new tune, song or lyrics, without some copyright infringement known or unknown to music artist. That little tune that hums in your ear. I guess the key word is known and each individuals means to lawyer up. Interesting to read different regions laws concerning security cameras. Legal in one area, not so in another or same applies to recording telephone conversations. I wonder if the Crop Tool was ever issued a patent? I’m not suggesting the free and quality advice provided in this thread should be ignored.
  15. What is the correct procedure to prevent subject results. I also have this problem.
  16. Works great as long as you don’t have white in the image you want to keep. I use it yesterday and it erase some of my image.
  17. I would just request the student to export file in jpeg format and send you the file. Note: Grade the student of content, not format he sent the file. Was the proper file format for submitting work discussed in class? Either way, now is prefect time to discussed sending proper file formats, continuous improvement.
  18. If they are not saying anything during the tutorial video turn your sound off or down. Everyone thinks, including Affinity Spotlight tutorials, music is required to provide tutorials, a distraction for many. Noise pollution.
  19. As many have posted, this is hit or miss, a miss for me. I can export>share, not save.
  20. Absolutely no problem Jim, as this should be corrected to provide assistance to new users. As the thread points out, many feel it could or should be improved.
  21. This thread is a marathon without resolution. So simple, yet recurring without fix.
  22. I’m a Mac user and following Apple’s procedures, the MAC should be a new machine. Walt had made a comment: “And (possibly) the license:” Potential problem if data was stored on external device and not formatted to erase any backups or other Application data. I guess expert hacker could identify potential data.
  23. I need clarification: If you follow Apple’s procedures to reset your iMac before selling, doesn’t that delete all necessary files?
