  1. First iPadOS doesn’t have, nor need product key. iPad storage is not memory. You can try unloading any unused apps and files to increase your storage. You can purchase appropriate flash drive to move files or move files to iCloud to free up storage.
  2. AP iPad home screen, click settings icon upper right, tools, and gestures. When working on project, click and hold ? lower right to obtain list of tools.
  3. Look at the water drops...you should see a little pink glow on the left side or halos/artifacts around edges.
  4. Affinity Photo Desktop (YouTube Video) and iPadOS do not function the same. The above video by Dm1 should get you started. Try to watch iPad AP videos, if that is you source for composition.
  5. Affinity Photo Facebook post often receive a lot of comments concerning individual works and suggestion.,
  6. It would be great if one could export the Brush Library to specific folder with a simple click: Export Brush Library and menu appears to select location. Sorry this did not answer your question.
  7. It may not be to late for the person who gifted the product key to get refund, again don’t know. They could send you Apple Gift Card which you could redeem and purchase product.
  8. Product keys do not work in Apple App Store. Contact Affinity with all the info to see if they can convert to a paid link to App Store. That is just a suggestion, I don’t have a clue if they can or will.
  9. Whatever the reason, I waited over five minutes and none of the users attached video play on my end. This normally is not a problem. R C-R was able to open,
  10. Thanks Alfred, I forgot to mention purchase from Affinity Store and one would need to be logged in to App Store to download and install. I wondered why you Liked my “polite” remark.
  11. I guess I just too old to be concerned that I or my 2019 iMac will become obsolete for Affinity, especially with the price point I paid for Affinity Photo.
  12. If you look at videos you attached, the total recording time is 0.00 or nothing recorded. I do not have AD, only AP. As I stated I would have nothing to compare as my Inpainting works without noticeable lag, unless I would try to Inpaint a whole picture. Maybe someone with both will see this thread and has similar MAC setup, and both programs and Photoshop, which I do not want to download on a fairly clean system. You would also have to re-record your screen recording as on my end, it shows 0.00 recorded.
  13. I purchased my RAM and SSD separately, significantly reducing the cost. That doesn’t explain why you are having problems. Although Inpainting is very fast for me, the results are not always accurate, requiring masking or erasing.
  14. My iMac 2019, see signature for details, is no match; however, I never experienced a delay using the Inpainting brush and never the Beach Ball of Death,
  15. This bug must be one of the most frequently used bug report.
  16. @taxineil great news. Another example why modification of forum is needed. Change Title, add Program, OS and purchase location. I truly believe this would significantly reduce repeated questions or reply’s to get to the root problem/question and correct reply. I did not post this reply to get bombarded by the nay sayers, only Affinity knows if changes can be made and are necessary.
  17. Thanks Alfred, I forgot to mention purchase from Affinity Store and one would need to be logged in to App Store to download and install.
  18. Affinity is the only Desktop software I had problems updating.😪 in the MAS. Glad you got it updated, enjoy.
  19. Is your work iPad associated with a business license or on your own Apple ID? If you own it, purchased it, it will be available for download on your Apple ID from the APp Store.
  20. @larsh click open from the update menu in your display above. This happened to me in 1.8.3 update. When I clicked open, if then ask me if I wanted to update, click yes. I think several other forum members had the same problem. Good luck.
