Hi, I'm working on merch design and I'm trying to recreate that kind of workflow where I separate midtones, shadows and highlight on Affinity. I know that AP doesn't have an artistic filter gallery like Ps, but I need some workaround to to that kind of stuff. Any suggestion? Thanks ❤️

I’m not able to find the older version of affinity on the iPad store. I’ve formatted my iPad and now I want to download it.
I have the v2 but for reasons of mine I still want to use the v1.

I encountered this problem on APv2 on iPad (Pro 11 "2018). I remember that even on the old version I had the same problem, but changing the retina rendering settings it seemed to be fixed (uninstalled now the old version and I can't recover it). Tried to do the same thing now but it seems that nothing changes ... on ADv2 I don't have the same problem in person pixels with the same brushes. Always tried to use AP as a Photoshop substitute for drawing and digital art, but this kind of bug has always stopped me a lot
I am attaching a video

How do you qualify the "simplicity" of individual operations from the point of view of their use of system resources?
Just moving a single object on small canvas (1000x1000)

Hi, I just downloaded the Publisher trial. I noticed that for simple operations the CPU usage goes to 100%, just like it often does in Affinity Photo. I wrote on the forum about this problem months ago, precisely for AP and I couldn't solve the problem, even after the update to 1.7. I exclude that the fault is of my computer: i7 6700K 4.0GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 3GB ... Also because with Photoshop I don't encounter these problems. Before you ask me in the preferences it is not set WRAP as setting. Thank you very much in advance for your help

From the EULA:
"3. The licence granted to you is limited, non-transferable and non-exclusive. Except to the extent any rights cannot be excluded by law, you are permitted:
(i) if you are a private individual, to download, install, use and run for personal use, one (1) copy of the Serif Software directly on each computer running Microsoft Windows (“Windows Computer”) that you personally own or control. Commercial use is permitted but only use by you and not by any other users of any Windows Computers that you own or control. For example, other members of your household that use your Windows Computers may make personal use of the Serif Software whereas, if anyone other than yourself needs to make commercial use of the Serif Software, the other user will need to make a separate purchase.
(ii) if you are a commercial enterprise, to download, install, use and run one (1) copy of the Serif Software for use either: (a) by one specific individual on each of the Windows Computer(s) that they use that you own or control, or (b) by multiple individuals on a single shared Windows Computer that you own or control; For example, a single employee may use the Serif Software on both their desktop and laptop Windows Computer, or multiple employees may serially use the Serif Software on a single Windows Computer used as a shared resource.
(iii) if you are an educational institution, to download, install, use and run, one (1) copy of the Serif Software for use either: (a) by a single individual on each of the Windows Computer(s) that they use that you own or control, or (b) by multiple individuals on a single shared Windows Computer that you own or control. For example, a single student may use the Serif Software on both the student's desktop Windows Computer and laptop Windows Computer, or multiple students may serially use the Serif Software on a single Windows Computer located at a resource centre or library."If you want to read the whole thing open AP, then click on "Help", "About", "EULA".
Understood now

Other users can only use it to make funny cat pictures (but they cant sell them afterwards)
Lol thank you all :-)

There’s no need to deactivate anything. A single licence covers your use of the software on any PC that you own or control, as long as no one else is using it for commercial purposes.
Thank you :-)
So is there another type of license for commercial use?

I recently had some problems with my PC, and I had to install Affinity Photo first twice on my desktop that I had to format .. After the second formatting I installed it on a laptop and then on another desktop that I was loaned while mine was being repaired. Now I have my main PC back and installed it again ...
Do I have to do something to deactivate the licenses on the other computers? I never found a button to deactivate the license. Even if in the future I have other problems or upgrade the PC.
Obviously I own all the PCs I used.
Thanks for your help :-)
