  1. I want to know if I can select the alpha channel or add the alpha channel to selection in Affinity Photo.
  2. Thanks, I already purchased Affinity Design since I don’t need a publishing application at this time. I didn’t notice an Edit in Designer button is available in Affinity Photo. I will adopt this workflow first, thanks everyone.
  3. I have learned that creating a Text-on-Path effect required the use of Affinity Designer. I already own Affinity Photo and I am about to buy Affinity Designer. But I want to know the workflow to work in both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer. For instance, assume that I am creating a poster in Affinity Photo and want to add a curved text somewhere in the poster. Then I need to go to Affinity Designer in order to create a Text-on-Path curved text. How can I actually work on these two software and let them work together? What is the recommended flow to achieve this?
  4. I want to select some part from an "image layer" and then duplicate the selected part as a new layer. Can I achieve this without rasterize the "image layer" first?
  5. OMG, it is so diffcult for a user to understand. By the way, thanks @R C-R for solving my question.
  6. I too not found any container layer in Affinity Photo. Still no idea how the Edit All Layers works.
  7. Sorry, I forgot to say that I am using Affinity Photo on Windows instead of Affinity Design.
  8. Thanks for the quick reply. To clarify, I expected I should not be able to select other layers' object when I selected one layer if I turned off the Edit All Layers. But it seems that I can select them with or without the Edit All Layers off.
  9. Trying to understand how the Edit All Layers works but found that there is no any restriction (i.e. not function) even when I disable the Edit All Layers. Can anyone help me? Is it a bug or I missed something about this function?
