  1. Hi I am new to Affinity 4 weeks

I am using a old Win 10 machine Amd E 350 processor 6 GB Ram and an onboard Video Chip. A very base line computer

Strange with the slow performance users are getting

My Affinity loads from the desktop in  7 seconds ready to open a file

I can open a RAW file 18,000 Kb  and 4028 X 3850 on less than 10 seconds  Not huge files but I cant complain about Affinity performance

tone mapping  takes less than  30 seconds.

    Just my 2 cents

  2. Hello every one  My Name is Fred

I am completely new to Affinity Photo, and have Photoshop Elements previously.

I am a BAM Processor ( Bare Ass Minimum ) just to make image look good Affinity photo after 2 weeks of using it does what I need and is an Excellent program. and Easy to follow.

Now I am in the Affinity learning stage to what can it do . More than just the minimum to make a picture look good

  3. Hello every one

I am completely new to Affinity Photo,  and have Photoshop Elements previously.

Affinity photo after 2 weeks of using it does what I need and is an Excellent program. and Easy to follow. ( because of my PS elements experience )

BUT the Change Sky needs improvement in the video tutorial .

Go a little slower and  can you Zoom in when you move and change layers ?

Zooming in to where the mouse moves while picking selections would also be great

Or slow down in this part.

I am using elements for now to change sky / background

    Thank you
