  1. @CallumSame issue here with AD and AP. (2017 Macbook Pro 11.5.1 & AD 1.9.3) I tried turning off acceleration but it continues to crash. Mostly when I'm editing swatches in a custom, system-wide palette (I make a swatch then move the order of the swatches). 2021-08-01 20:19:37.930 Affinity Designer[7660:116967] Failed to initialize color list unarchiver: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=4864 "*** -[NSKeyedUnarchiver _initForReadingFromData:error:throwLegacyExceptions:]: non-keyed archive cannot be decoded by NSKeyedUnarchiver" UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=*** -[NSKeyedUnarchiver _initForReadingFromData:error:throwLegacyExceptions:]: non-keyed archive cannot be decoded by NSKeyedUnarchiver}
  2. My hacky work around might help. I'm on a Mac running Mohave 10.14.6 (But ultimately, I need to link to a spreadsheet, or folder containing whatever so that docs will update dynamically, right?) For now at least this works without having to retype a ton of data: - Select and copy all the data you want from your existing tablet. Here I used an html table online to copy my son's football sched: - In Affinity Pub, use the type tool and make a text container roughly big enough to paste all your data in. The text will be formatted with tabs between the content from each cell. Dont try and make it look pretty, it's got the correct formatting here to paste into a table. - Again in Affinity, make a table with the amount of rows and columns you need - Select all the cells you need and paste them in. All the tabs in the raw text are used to separate each item into cells. Again, not ideal but at least we aren't having to type or copy/paste each and every cell. I've also tried this from Google Sheets and it works the same.
  3. I didn't...every time I make or chose an existing stroke it's 0...so weird. I understand the default being 0 on an existing shape.... I dorked around with this for 2 days, and I knew if I just posted about it the solution would immediately become obvious...and of course it did. Just like trying everything and then turning it of an on again (TIOAOA)
  4. I know that there is something I'm overlooking since I'm new to Affinity Designer. and it is not working the same as AI, Figma, Sketch or any vector tool I've used: What am I doing wrong that prevents the stroke from showing up?? I selected the rectangle tool. I drew a rectangle. I've chosen a stoke color from the color box next to the text "Stroke:" and set the stroke to be 5pt thick. It should be showing a green frickin stroke around a red frickin rectangle , but instead it shows nothing. I know I can do this with the fx panel but it doesn't behave the same as a stroke does...plus this should just work. WHAT am I not doing here? It seems so basic!
