Hello,
I am experiencing some issues with Affinity Publisher. I have two identical text frames with text. I set leading to 30pt, or 45pt, one looks properly, the other one doesn't change at all, or changes weirdly. What am I missing? Is it a bug or a feature?

That actually works, but would be nice if masks could be supported as well.

Basically, it gives me an unknown error. PSD export only works if you choose the FInal Cut preset. Rest, do not work.
Does anyone know why?

My bad then. Please close this topic. The information was wrong on the website with printing guidelines. They probably meant in inches.

Setup document in cm (10.16cm x 10.16cm). Add text.
Export as PNG. It gives 1200x1200 @ 300 DPI, which is way lower than it should be.

This happens when you export the images using the export persona. If you simply do a PNG export and then use that image as a pattern, the lines go away.

I think with brushes I can simply try and create a pattern around the object, but I was wondering if it is doable with vector. I guess not yet.

I'm running 2500K @ 4.4Ghz, 8GB RAM, RX 580, SSD and the latest version of Windows 10 Pro.
Also, such huge performance dip occurs when the candidate list set to All Layers.

Hello,
Some designers I follow on YouTube reported performance issues with the latest Affinity Designer version. I've also found some threads about this. While, I don't think my performance is bad, however, I definitely cannot open large files and have it run close to 60 frames. So I decided to investigate a bit, and here's what I discovered.
If you have snapping enabled, and you try to drag something in a file with hundreds of layers, the performance becomes unbearable, similar to playing a video game at 10-15 fps.
I was wondering if this is proper behavior, or maybe it's a bug that should be looked into?

Here are two more videos from scratch. Basically, if you try to create this shape (bottom part of an ink pen), something makes the corner tool work not as expected. These two are not as severe as the first one, as the right node works correctly, but the top's behavior is weird.

Yes, it's the same file, but if I re-open it works as expected.

Upgraded to new version and there is still some weird behavior with corner tool.

From a short test I did myself you do not need combining shapes. I did it with the Triangle Tool, the Corner Tool and the Node Tool. Make a triangle, make rounded corners top, left and right, add a node at the bottom and twist the lines there.
But then the twist in the middle is not perfect, as is the top is not round.

I am trying to re-create the airbnb logo, but I am currently struggling as you cannot combine shapes easily in Affinity Designer the way you can in Illustrator. Does anyone know how to re-create it properly using Designer?
I am trying to do the same in Designer.

For some reason it also created a triangle shape on expand. I don't know whether that is intended or not.
The bug can be replicated using a simple square shape as well.

I presume those objects have just had some boolean operations done to them?
Here's a full video how to replicate the bug. Sometimes makes the app crash. Also, saved the file. If you re-open the file, the bug disappears.

Open any image. Enable Bebas Neue in FontBase, open the text tool, start typing in the font field letter B (for bebas). Boom crashes both on Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer.
