Turn on Show Special Characters and you'll see that you have many Paragraphs on the right and none on the left.

    It is a feature.

Where can I turn that on?

Even if you do not do that, in the Layers panel if you expand the Layer1 (Layer) to show all of its layers, you can see first pilcrow in the two (Felicia Ruiz) Frame Text layers.

    Thanks, this actually helped!

Edited the file in AP, made a selection from the mask, deleted the orginal mask and made a new one from the selection. Voila.

I was extremely motivated solving this, because I am a f*cking vegan myself. 🤣

So that doesn't really solve the problem, I guess. :)

  3. Hello,

Some designers I follow on YouTube reported performance issues with the latest Affinity Designer version. I've also found some threads about this. While, I don't think my performance is bad, however, I definitely cannot open large files and have it run close to 60 frames. So I decided to investigate a bit, and here's what I discovered.

If you have snapping enabled, and you try to drag something in a file with hundreds of layers, the performance becomes unbearable, similar to playing a video game at 10-15 fps.

I was wondering if this is proper behavior, or maybe it's a bug that should be looked into?

    Hi SuperUser,
I'm having trouble reproducing what you have done in the video. Are you sure it's the same file? Can you reproduce it with the file you attached above?

You've probably posted this before I updated the original one.

If you close the file and re-open it, then it works correctly, so I don't know how to actually diagnose this.

Yes, it's the same file, but if I re-open it works as expected.
