Instead of using pressure profiles on strokes to control the line thickness/width from the start of a stroke to the end of the stroke maybe allow us to change the line thickness at each point. Then have them blend between each of the points. This would give greater control and save time on creating the strokes you want. I find using the pressure profiles to be cumbersome when selecting the graph points and when you have a long stroke it's harder to get the results you want.

I definitely choose handles too often instead of nodes. I knock on the node, mark the handle. I'm wasting too much time trying to capture and relocate the node.

Currently when some selectable points or curves (things) are close but not overlapping, a precise and accurate tap and drag of a desirable thing would often result in the tapping and dragging of another thing close to the desirable one instead.
For example, when using the node tool on a curve made with the pen tool, and I want to tap and drag a node or curve, I often end up selecting a bezier handle instead, so I find myself very often having to undo and zoom in a lot to select and drag the thing I want and zoom back out afterwards. This really limits the productivity when using this software.
If this aspect could be improved, it would be much appreciated as I can then achieve more in less time and with less frustration.

Lots of people request to have quick action tools added to the standard interface. 
Requests like this:
"The alignments tools are too deeply buried in the transform pallet" 
"It takes too many taps to expand the stroke"
"I want undo/redo in a better place"
"It would be great to have a quick duplicate button so i don't have to go into a menu"
"Can we put Combine into the tool bar because i use it all the time"
"Nudge tools on-screen would be cool to have so i don't need a keyboard"
"Need a quicker way to re-order layers, maybe back forward buttons, K thanks!"
... the list goes on...

All of these requests could be fulfilled with a user editable tool bar in the empty space in the top bar (persona's could even be a pop out menu to save space).

The screenshot says it all. This would be the ultimate shortcut.

I think that it would be really helpful if there were a permanent lock button on the layers that allowed you to toggle the lock status of each layer. The lock symbol already appears if the layer is locked, and clicking on it unlocks the layer, so I don't think that it would be too hard to just make the symbol permanent and allow the user to lock the layer from the button as well. When the layer is locked, the lock symbol could be the shade of white that it is now, and when the layer is unlocked, the symbol could be a darker gray.

Flip Horizontally for the whole canvas is a must for me, and is found in almost all of the drawing apps.
It's the fastest way for assuring/fixing perspective problems in drawings and it feels to me like a mandatory feature. 
An accessible button/menu-drop for the flip would make this Affinity Designer my go-to app for pixel drawing, besides being the killer app for vector drawing.

I'd like to suggest a custom, drag and drop shortcut panel. Something that would allow for users to drop in the tools, adjustments or any other quick menu items that they use that are buried in menus. 
Design wise: something like the quick menu at the bottom for tool settings but maybe located at the top of the interface. Also, I'd love for the current quick settings menu panel to be able to moved to the top of the interface as well.

I understand it’s impossible to change the colour of the background in Designer for iPad. This is a much needed feature for anyone trying to build prototypes as the artboards for say an iPhone app need to stand out against the background. The background of the artboard in my current project needs to be the same as your chosen document colour, which means I can’t distinguish the boundaries of my artboards. Currently, in order to get around this I’m placing a dummy artboard with a black rectangle behind the other artboards, which is far from optimal.  Unless I’m missing something which already exists, please consider adding this to the settings as this product is otherwise incredible. Many thanks.

As the title states, adjusting the position of a node or nodes via Transform Studio’s Ⅹ or Y position dials completely fills the history. 
It seems like history is recording every single position update made with this tool, rather than only recording the new ‘end’ position once the adjustment has been made.
This essentially means those changes cannot be undone.

In the same way as it is possible to delete a layer when it is selected, it would be nice to be able to lock it too.  Ideally, I would love to see a faded out lock button next to the on/off button next to each layer,  where it currently appears once it has been locked.

Congratulations on the release of designer iOS it’s awesome!
just wondering whether it would be possible to include an option to auto-close pencil strokes, rather than drawing a shape and then having to close the Shape manually, it would be a real time-saver.
