Hi, I would like to export an image with dust, as a png image with a transparent background. But when I create a new page, the background is white by default. Can we change this? Hi, I would like to reproduce this orange shape (see image below). With the Lasso, there is a pixelated border along the line. I tried with the option that let you add 1px of blur at the borders, or I also clicked on the checkbox in the option of the lasso. But the result is bad. Is there a simple way to achieve this? Hi, I would like to have to same brush effect as on this image : I tried to create an ellipsis shape, larger on the width than on the height, and I added approximately 30% flow, 30% hardness, 100% rotation with the "direction" option. The result is not so good. Would you know how to achieve this kind of result? I have got a Wacom pen tablet. Thanks ;)

Hi, I don't know if you found this bug already, but sometimes, we cannot drag a layer anymore, to drag and drop it below or above another layer. For some reason, it is stuck, I have to quit the software and come back, and then it is possible again. I am using the first released version of Affinity photo. Thanks for the great work ;)

Hi, Edit: Ok I had to first add "pressure" in the list, before changing the variation. Issue solved. I would like to change the flow on a custom brush, a black rectangle exported at 256px. When I go in the settings of the brush, if I change the flow value, the brush preview disappears and the pressure from the brush is too high. I would like to have a small flow, to mix multiple colors without changing the opacity. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks

Hi, I think I encountered a bug, I added an image, I then added layers on top of the image to draw. When I tried to save the whole document, I could not change the name, the name field was sort of grayed out, I could not add any letter. I canceled the popup window, selected all the layers, "save as" again, and then it worked, I was able to change the name and save the document.

Edit: ok sorry I found it, you have to click and drag the small icon next to the color, in the color panel. Hi, is there a tool to detect a color from an image in Affinity Photo Beta? Such as in other softwares like photoshop or gimp, when you click on an image, you can retrieve the color of the pixel where you clicked. Thanks

Thanks. It is great to add the video :) But I don't have the same icons/settings as you have. I don't have the same snap, the only snap I have is the "magnet", I can join two points, they look like they are joined but they belong to separate curves. I try to click on "add" in the context menu, but the second curve completely changes into a straight line, as if it removes all the points and join the first point from the first curve to the last point. You can see here the straight line :

Hi, let's say you create 2 paths with the pencil tool, if you release the click, it will create a new path. How is it then possible to make the two paths as if they were only one? Hi, how can we change the size of the canvas? For example, in other software, we can select an image, and change the size of the canvas (the entire page) to fit the dimensions of the image. Then you can just export the image with the correct dimensions. If I export the image now, I can only export the entire page. Thanks

Hi, how is it possible to end a path? Sorry for this simple question :) But I could not find it. Edit: maybe I can add another question : How can we cut a path? When I remove one point, the previous point and the next point are joined together. I would like to make a cut between the 2 points, without joining them. Thanks

Hi, I am trying the trial version, I have a small issue : I clicked on some buttons, and I don't have the default view with layers on the side, as it was before. I tried to reselect the toolbar option etc. but I can only make the 2 toolbars appear like in the picture below. I would like to have the default view, with layers, the color selector etc. :) Thanks
