steveKunkel reacted to firstdefence in Change both sides of shape symmetrically?
This is probably an easier way.
Make an ellipse using the ellipse tool the settings in the screenshot below
Duplicate the ellipse and again use the screenshot below as a guide.
Make a rectangle and again use the screenshot below as a guide
You should have this shape now...
You can now Boolean: Add the three shapes and change to black and add effects like the highlight.

Another way is to draw a 6 sides polygon and then to use the Corners tool for adjusting it into the desired shape. Aka ...
polygone.mp4 The way with mirroring instead would be, to have two halfs of a rounded rectangle shape with expanded strokes as symbols, so that manipulationg the nodes of one of them effects the other one too. At the end then combine the two shape halfs again into one shape!

What some OP's do is edit the title of the topic, adding a "[Solved]" prefix or suffix to it.

steveKunkel got a reaction from Alfred in Best settings for SVG from DrawPlusX8 to Designer?
Hmm.. Now that you mention it, I seem to recall running into this in DPX8 several times. It can be quite an annoyance sometimes.
On another note: I was able to get an even better crossover into Designer by removing a bunch of the filter effects from within DPX8 before exporting. And when I did export, I used the highest DPI setting.
