  1. so is this still an issue with affinity or a quirky uncommonly formatted image file? To reiterate, it still opens fine from the get go in browsers and photo viewers. I don't have any adobe apps anymore but I'm curious how it appears in photoshop at least
  2. well that worked, thanks! I didn't even look at the layers window because who expects to see layers at all on a .jpg lol
  3. Sure, here you go. Thanks 2024_TX_500h_FSPORT_Exterior_004.zip Edit: I also noticed if you hover over the image in my previous message, you can see the source of it. Or better yet you can just right click and open the link to get it directly from the lexus website
  4. Hi, thanks Callum. This is how it appears for me in both designer and photo. Ah ok, well the official source is if that helps, thanks edit: The forum software seems to have automatically embedded the link as an image... not sure how to stop it from doing that, hopefully it doesn't matter. Just an FYI I guess
  5. Can't seem to view this image properly in designer or photo, don't have publisher installed but I'm assuming the same issue. The image shows fine in other viewers. It's an official press image file.
  6. Is the solution currently being worked on aim to be exact or a bit more accurate?
  7. I understand the limited resources argument which is why I've refrained from commenting about this specific software issue any further. I do however have a problem with whoever it was that gave the green light to use misleading and broad claims about it being "the most precise" or "100% accurate" graphic design software in order to sell it. Honesty and integrity as well as being well organized is important too.
  8. Thanks for the workaround, here is the post I was referring to. "Affinity Designer is full of tools meticulously developed for achieving high productivity, while maintaining 100 percent accurate geometry." "Affinity - the fastest, smoothest, most precise professional creative software." Nobody else has a problem with sort of marketing? It's clearly not true, granted it only costs ~$50 and the second quote is a bit broad but 1. The lack of communication 2. The lack of progress 3. Misleading claims is definitely concerning.
  9. wow I just noticed this and was about to make my own thread about it thinking it was a weird new glitch or something, certainly didn't expect it to be a years old problem. It's been more than a year now since someone said it was being fixed, is this no longer the case?
