....and I get the same error when opening the file with the current beta

that´s so nice! I wish I had such ideas myself!
great description!

say I wan to group some unsharp masks and clarity filters with different settings
How can I do this? How can I get them "grouped"?
At the current state they just loose their effect which I find pretty dumb :/
Thanks in a advance!

Yes sorry, I think mainly rotating canvas and linked objects would be nice but I'm more on the photo side of users so I'm not representative here :D

I think the next MAS update isn't far away anyway cause of all the photo extension requests and the haze removal requests and the PSD fixes and the other great things and AD AP tend to get updates at the same time right?
But this is a fairly big update with the keyboard shortcuts so ...
Anyway - more betas don't mean faster progression ;)

I guess it has something to do with RGB CMYK conversion.
Your photos may be in RGB mode while the designer document might be CMYK and because for some colours there isn't an exact representation in both modes your RGB photos seem dull in a CMYK colour space.

Maybe this could could be improved as it's not directly intuitive?

You can also use a grey scale gradient on a mask and also paint with grey scales with a brush on the same mask.
Black reveals
White conceals

AP as an extension for Apple Fotos is already set for the next MAS version, it even works already with the current beta.
- sidetone - IMHO - I don´t see Apple Foto anywhere close to a serious DAM. It´s just not flexible by any means.

The shortcut would be shift + cmd + r and the feature is also in the MAS version - the location is where I said, just checked it

So as you use Aperture you know that it would be great to have an Affinity Solution for this in the near future, right? ;)

No big deal once you know it but I think it really is worth mentioning that it´s in the current beta!
Great to have the option to exclude the metadata :)

Are the files resampled? If yes which method is used by default?

Finally I´m happy to say that Photo Mecanic is fast.
It´s even faster than Bridge so this software really owned his title!
I don´t like the UI, I think On1 10s UI looks promising.
When on1 10 get´s released I´ll give it a try but so far Photo Mechanic could be an option.
It hasn´t OS X 10.11 in his descriptions yet so this somehow reflects the overall UI outdated feel of the software but well at least it performs really well!
- it´s 150$ btw again.....
and I´d like integrated batch processing (with AP integration) and this thing that also LR has where I can create a down sampled catalog with low res images for my MacBook... I think PM does´t have this.
So Affinity would be still the way to go but PM is really fast ;)

Maybe there's already a shortcut entry in the current beta - I haven't looked for it yet.
- I think many here will appreciate that you may create a book about affinity ;) (y)

just to say - you can use cmd + shift + 3 to create a screenshot or cmd + shift + 4 and drag you mouse to specify an area, or cmd + shift + 4 and then press the space bar and hover over a specific window and klick your mouse :)
