I guess you used it after another adjustment layer and when you add a new adjustment layer after another it will be nested under the first one. Thus it only affects the previous adjustment which is actually no effect at all.
So you have to drag it on the very top (open the layers panel)
Or the devs change this behavior (if one adjustment layer is added after another, don´t nest them)....I don´t get this behavior at all
EDIT:
I guess the correct term is "live filter layer" instead of "adjustment" - sorry
-
it could be rasterized to it´s native resolution, then it wound´t be an issue and we can already use this if we place this image and thus have it as a separate file in the file.
But maybe this could be build right into the normal behavior.

Andy preview for that?
- made my evening :) :)
- could be a running gag in AP!

ok then I meant layer masking, sorry for the confusion
- in my use case I can´t see a difference in the effect right?
-
I think they want to come up with something special because I think " Select same color / fill / stroke / appearance" would probably be like 10 lines of code

ok I still say that I drag the shape on top of the image but it works indeed with the pen line as well...
I´m puzzled what I did a few days ago as it didn´t work there
-
I drew it and dropped the path onto the Foto, just as I'd do with a rectangle - that didn't work ....
So I have to do it the other way around? I'll give it a go tomorrow! Thanks in advance!
-
why can´t I use a traced path in the same way as a rectangle or triangle etc to clip an image (or another shape)?
I know there are workarounds - create a selection and a mask
- but why isn´t it possible with the intact dots and handles.....a little bit more vector masking in AP please ;)
-
Haha :D Really awesome !! Tanks for sharing :))

00Ghz, do you have some more? :)

I think he opened your jog and didn't see a difference ....

Thank you very much :)
I'll give it a try asap :)

Awesome!
But I´d really appreciate a hint from the devs what they changed with this mask/ child nesting logic.....
I´ve also noticed that the live perspective distortion filter in layer stacks is applied on a "mask level" and not as a child and thus blend modes don´t take effect. If one drags them into the child position everything is alright...
Is this a feature where the use did not become visible to me or is this an unintended behavior?

you could duplicate the 150.79 guide and then type into the numeric input field +17.36
I´ve not actually tried it out but 99% sure it works that way
