  1. you just need to click on the very image of the mask, not the name or you can alt+click on that image of the mask to get a black/white isolated view on it
  2. yeah https://affinity.ser...killer/?p=61067 https://affinity.ser...446-dam-please/ https://affinity.ser...set-management/ https://affinity.ser...dam-philosophy/ https://affinity.ser...t-manager-asap/ https://affinity.ser...-photo-manager/ https://affinity.ser...2-dam-features/ https://affinity.ser...e-4#entry190084 https://affinity.ser...-asset-manager/ in the meantime https://affinity.ser...browser-bridge/ cheers :)
  3. Then this is a bug, works fine on my side macOS What is your operating system? Most recent AD version?
  4. ok I just press cmd + 9 but if this seems cumbersome to you, well most of the time I want the image to fill the screen to actually see what is going on
  5. Licking the zoom to max 100% would be completely dump in AP Many filters such as Denoise are applied to a downscaled bitmap for performance reasons at zoom < 100% So it is advisable to zoom further than 100% to judge the outcome. Cheers
  6. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/19787-rgb-0-256-vs-10bit/ I also had to ask, did not discover that at first glance :D
  7. http://www.color.org/WP40-Black_Point_Compensation_2010-07-27.pdf (examples at the end) http://www.color.org/AdobeBPC.pdf "Although ICC profiles specify how to convert the lightest level of white from the source device to the destination device, the profiles do not specify how black should be converted. The user observes the effect of this missing functionality in ICC profiles when a detailed black or dark space in an image is transformed into an undifferentiated black or dark space in the converted image. The detail in dark regions (called the shadow section) of the image can be lost in standard color conversion. Adobe Systems implemented BPC to address this conversion problem by adjusting for differences between the darkest level of black achievable on one device and the darkest level of black achievable on another. Because BPC is an optional feature that the user can enable or disable when converting an image, the user can always decide whether the conversion of a particular image looks better with or without BPC. " TLDR: on because otherwise the shadows get crushed (sometimes the printing company also tells you how to set up) maybe helpful in general: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/33820-color-profiles-management/?p=165094 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32516-soft-proof-in-practice/?p=158109
  8. contour gradient looks really cool, and the missing spiral in AD :) pasting in the tiles was REALLY cool  (good to know that at least multiple fills are on the roadmap, also a cool feature!) like these objects only thing is better implemented in affinity using clipping or nesting magnification is probably also well implemented in affinity using symbols Freehand has like a layer inside the layer structure :D interesting stuff add points to curve and these curving modifications are really nice  the diagram/ draw tool seems somewhat odd, guess one could just export PDF from excel (as you said I guess) I hope we can get that in Affinity when we have scripting, yeah Rui  :D
  9. you right click the top toolbar and select "customize toolbar" and then you can drag the desired alignment option into your toolbar :)
  10. actually I don't get it if you don't click apply (which actually reads "done") but just clock elsewhere, the settings are applied automatically before clicking elsewhere, the changes are visible, live, so there is actually no room for improvement as I see it click once to open the panel, click on the option, continue clicking whatever you like next so ....
  11. yeah sorry for propagating misinformation, just read up on that and seems legit :) lets hope they have DG, otherwise it would be a shame :)

  13. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/15873-coming-2016-32bit-hdr-editing-sneak-preview/?p=81085 if they are not acyclic that would certainly make up for a great processing time....infinitely long :D and if they are not directed...affinity would randomly change layer processing order, read the export as import

  15. on Mac it actually is the alt key but this only works for numerical modification using the arrow keys, not sliding with the mouse on the slider anyway I consider +- 2EV much more common than +- 20 EV so this "default" behavior is just strange
  16. do you use the liquify persona? in that was you could save the mesh and then apply it to the second layer in just the same way using the mesh warp tool there is no way, we don't have smart objects but side note, jeees your website is slow af, the slideshow is too fast as well like the slideshow is faster than the image-loadtime and even if the images have loaded you can still hardly see anything I'm on 50mbit Internet here so it is definitely not and issue on my end I quite like some of your photos so it really would be good to make some optimisations on your website, either compress the images in a better way or look for a better hosting service and make that slideshow slower or even better, turn it off!
