never mind I was wrong

(1) you have to hold down alt and then drag the end/ front node
(2) in Affinity designer there is an option "expand stroke" which is still a bit messy

Can a moderator please delete my account.
I came here with the best of intentions to request a Linux version. I have no time to engage in this discussion further and I don't want an active account in this forum, since I do not belong in the Affinity user community.
There is no delete account option.
So thank you very much. And best of luck.
I found your link to xara very interesting :)
there is not actually one affinity community, just bunch of guys being more or less friendly and some have the same and some have different opinions :)
your account will only get disabled not deleted as far as I've seen it so far so not sure if that helps

this is actually really cool for photo manipulation, styling/ creating a look as well, thanks for creating them in Affinity :)
I can't open the gradients. I get the message that it's not an affinityfile/document.
for me this is a bug   it could just default to "open as application palette" when it is dragged onto the affinity icon

those should/ will work in both though

Hi jellis,
I don't know much details about the images and sizes you are using so i've built a sample that hopefully may help.
Just import the macro through the menu in the Library panel then go to menu File ▸ New Batch Job, select the three cat files (source images), select the macro you just imported (it's on a category called MEB_sample), select the format you want to export and click OK. You should get the three cat images, inverted to white on the chalkboard background. Cat images, background and macro included in the zip.
arrange nodes?
how did you do that? :D
-
your macro would have to look like this:
(0) line drawing is present (not recorded as macro)
(1) load chalkboard (file > place)
(3) move chalkboard below drawing
(4) modify drawing
((5)) batch process those afphoto files to PNG or something like that
maybe there is some other way to hack around this but nothing that comes to my mind...
cheers

I mistakingly thought this was the logo of alphabet
but yours definitely look very nice as well :) :D
cheers

you can make a selection(1)
turn on quickmask
and make a selection(2) of the selection(1) :) to modify parts of the selection(1)
if you try it it is actually easy
just remember which tools belong to selections (refined add, subtract) and which belong to quick mask/pixel work (move tool with rotate, scale .., all kind of blurs, all brushes)
cheers :)

sweeeet  :)
especially:
- HSL Mode: Instead of going based only on Luminance, this would use the input hue or saturation as the lookup index. In combination with HSL blend modes, this would allow for some fantastic workflows like basically warping the color wheel to taste, similar to the "HSL Wheels" feature in Magic Bullet Colorista (Note: don't be fooled by the name of the feature, this is NOT referring to the three-way color corrector). Just use a gradient of the HSL spectrum and drag or re-define stops, set the result to "Hue" blend mode, and you have an extremely powerful color correction tool that gives you results that would be difficult to achieve in any other way.
- Ability to move start and end stops. The values before the first stop and after the last one would simply use constant extrapolation. This would eliminate the need for duplicate stops, which take longer to create and are harder to edit since all operations need to be performed twice.

if you don't rescale on export, the resampling does not make any difference
I tried your image with nearest neighbour and langszos
put them both into AD/ or AP on top of each other and selected "difference" blend mode and everything is black which means everything is the same
in apples preview I get slightly varying results zoomed out, but they also look the very same zoomed in
they also don't have the same checksum which is probably because of some metadata differences in the header
so guess you are good to go
would be interesting to know what this "drawing" if used for? :)

UPDATE April 2017: V1.6 updates will be slightly later than planned, rather than being released at Easter as we initially hoped. Please follow us on Twitter or Facebook to get notified as soon as they are available.
@Affinity, would be good to also communicate in the forum directly as these are actually people reporting bugs and improving the software so guess would be fair to inform them/ us directly
any news will be announced in our Newsletter

Macros can't load image yetwell actually they can , pretty cool
so just go to view > studio > macro
hit record and do your thing and then save that macro
then make a new batch job and apply that macro
these are official tutorials covering macros
