wait whaaaaat you can make these before/ after conversions always seem very dramatic by using a low black point and an inverted s curve and maybe even miss use the white balance in the "before" shot the finished result looks a bit too much like "on LSD" too me, maybe a balance between both would be the way to go

(1) you have to hold down alt and then drag the end/ front node (2) in Affinity designer there is an option "expand stroke" which is still a bit messy cheers

I found your link to xara very interesting :) there is not actually one affinity community, just bunch of guys being more or less friendly and some have the same and some have different opinions :) your account will only get disabled not deleted as far as I've seen it so far so not sure if that helps :ph34r:

this is actually really cool for photo manipulation, styling/ creating a look as well, thanks for creating them in Affinity :) for me this is a bug :ph34r: :unsure: it could just default to "open as application palette" when it is dragged onto the affinity icon

your macro would have to look like this: (0) line drawing is present (not recorded as macro) (1) load chalkboard (file > place) (3) move chalkboard below drawing (4) modify drawing ((5)) batch process those afphoto files to PNG or something like that (3) is currently not possible maybe there is some other way to hack around this but nothing that comes to my mind... cheers

you can make a selection(1) turn on quickmask and make a selection(2) of the selection(1) :) to modify parts of the selection(1) if you try it it is actually easy just remember which tools belong to selections (refined add, subtract) and which belong to quick mask/pixel work (move tool with rotate, scale .., all kind of blurs, all brushes) cheers :)

if you don't rescale on export, the resampling does not make any difference I tried your image with nearest neighbour and langszos put them both into AD/ or AP on top of each other and selected "difference" blend mode and everything is black which means everything is the same in apples preview I get slightly varying results zoomed out, but they also look the very same zoomed in they also don't have the same checksum which is probably because of some metadata differences in the header so guess you are good to go would be interesting to know what this "drawing" if used for? :)
