Thanks guys got it sorted thank you. Was stumped on the jpg things as well. I now have rounded the corner lol appreciated guys.

Hi Folks, Have been struggling with a wee problem so I am coming to you for help. I have a jpg image that I want to round the corners on image1. When I select the cornering tool the options for the edge are grayed out. I tried going into Photo and using smooth rounded the corners fine however the background could be seen. image2. These images are to be used as backgrounds to add text to. Please help.

Hi Folks, I am a real newbie to Affinity so forgive my ignorance. I have created a background in which I have created a text frame. Using Londrina Solid Font I have typed into the box. I seem to have an outline on my text, how do I remove that outline effect? GAUBackground2.afphoto
