I think its working. The images I used at first were my artwork, which didn't seem to have any color changes applied. But when I used some of my photos from my camera, it changed the colors of the photos. So I mistakenly assumed it could be applied to all image types not just photos from a camera. I still want to be able to have more color control power than just Seletive Color and HSL,HSV, so I guess I will use Resolve and that free 3DLut plugin that you can get. So I would consider this thread resolved. Thankyou guys, sorry for taking so long to figure this out.

I thought LUTs were supposed to change the color? If I wanted brightness levels changed I can just use the Brightness/contrast adjustment I don't need LUTs. I was hoping it would change the color in some way. I tried several Luts but no change to color only slight changes in brightness with blending modes. I also tried different ICC profiles and jpg and png files, still nothing. No I'm not running any of the apps you listed. I uninstalled Affinity Photo then ran Revo Uninstaller to clear out any left over stuff. Then reinstalled Affinity, but still no change.

I checked preferences, opencl was already disabled. Don't know if this is useful, but when I went thru blending modes for the LUT. It simply changed brightness levels on all of them, except Contrast Negative, which changed the color to some weird freaky color scheme. Is that info useful? Thanks.

I have Windows 10. Is that the problem? Why sell Affinity Photo for Windows 10, if it doesn't work? I wondered if Affinity was simply too slow, even tho I have a gaming laptop, 32 gigs dual channel ram. and 8 gig gaming video card. So after loading the LUT I waited a full ten minutes to see what would happen.....nothing. I tried several other LUTS, including my own LUTS, still nothing. How I imported the Lut? I selected Adjustments from the layers panel. I then selected LUTS. Then LOAD Luts. (loaded .cube) Thats it. Thanks.

I watched 3 or 4 tutorials on affinity photo luts. I created my own luts, saved as high quality and .cube I tried importing and applying that lut, no effect. I tried downloading other peoples .cube luts from internet and applying it, no effect? It should be simple right? Thanks. p.s. unrelated topic, why does it take ten minutes to view 40 files in file folder? each time?

I know Serif no longer develops Drawplus, but I purchased it a few months ago from Serif and I really need Autotrace to work. Now with Windows 10 last update it seemed to crash whenever I use it? I read somewhere on the internet that somebody said that Drawplus works best in 32 bit version? On my account page there is only the 64bit version available? How do I get the 32bit version? Anyone have any similar experiences? Thankyou. I really need to get this working again.

I'm not sure what particular forum to post this on, I can't find the forum called "Other"? I've been looking for some cool effects, like for example, the intro animation from Halt and Catch Fire? I know they probably used Adobe After Effects or some 3D modelling software but I wanted to find some image based software. I'm aware of and experimented with every filter in Gimp and Gmic and Inkscape. Real Draw Pro from the info I saw has some cool vector painting effects. Its like 10 years old? I read tho that its image size is limited to 1800 x 1600 and may contain malware. Vector based painting=Real Draw pro, Real Draw 5 (Windows) allows vector painting=Clip Studio (windows) *Geometricam and Procreate has some simply amazing effects! Why don't they migrate to Windows?
