Gnobelix - that was the RAW image. Jorn Reppenhagen - I tried a prime and that looked OK too. Maybe the issue is due to the zoom.

I'm having the same problem with my xt3 and the18-55 lens. black curved bar appearing at the top. Just wondering when it will be sorted. It's more than disappointing not to be able to edit images. And, I do agree the colours look a bit odd too. Attached is a test shot...if it uploads.

Hopefully someone can help - not sure if it's me or Affinity photo, but every time I load an image into the software I get a black arch at the top of it. I've loaded the same image (and others) into different software and all is good. In fact the images look much sharper in different software too. Does anyone know what is going wrong? I've had Affinity Photo since 2017, but don't often use it. I've attached a screen shot of sample image. I use a MacBook Air running Mojave, bought Affinity in November 2017 and can't see any updates in the App Store. My camera is a Fujifilm XT3 with the 18-55 kit lens.
