1.7.0.257 installation issue

No error message received. Program opens to full screen and appears for about 5 seconds and then closes. Have returned to 249. -
1.7.0.257 installs but does not completely run up. When launching, it comes up to the point where it appears ready (full screen) then immediately closes without an error message. All previous updates have experienced no problems with this PC, running Windows 10 64 bit version 1809. Update for .net Framework 4.72 installed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success. Rollback to previous Publisher version works fine.
