[Folder path/filename change detection]

Hello,

I currently work at a business where other people have access to the location of source files for various design projects within the business. These people aren't really computer savvy and change folder and file names without thinking. (I've mentioned this to them numerous times but to no avail).

Is there a way, that an alert could come up notifying users that the file path/file name has changed and fix it automatically? 

It's incredibly frustrating working on something then realising someone has changed the folder name and whilst I think it's saving fine... it's not!
