I can't seem to remember for the life of me how to make my documents have a transparent background from the getgo on Affinity Photo. Any help?

Yes, it works when i use the mouse, the tablet responds perfectly for the "Basic" brushes set. Checked pressure settings and everything but still nothing. Tablet brand and model is the Huion H420, Windows 10 OS, and Affinity Photo 1.6.5.135

I want to draw with the Watercolor brushes, but for some reason when I try to draw on my Graphic tablet, it doesn't show up on the canvas. I'm using Affinity Photo

I'm big into pixel art, but I can't quite figure out how to set Affinity Photo up to do pixel art. Can anybody help?
