  1. Oh, ok. I went into performance and lowered the amount of RAM allocated to it, hopefully it won't kill my PC now. Thank you! I'll take a look a the Beta and see what's there
  2. Ok, this has happened twice now in two days and I'm becoming quite concerned now. I'm working on a relatively large file (seeing as it takes a bit of time for it to merge layers for example), but sometimes Affinity Photo will just freeze. I leave it, hoping it will resolve itself, but then it will freeze the rest of my computer. Then my screens go black, but not completely. Yesterday I got a popup warning telling me something went wrong and the only way to fix it was to hard reset the PC (which I ended up doing because a few of my windows were completely black or had an UI design similar to Windows 95, interacting with anything would either revert the UI from windows 10 to Windows 95 or make the contents black). Today, something similar happened. Long loading, followed by black screen. No warning this time, and I could see the Windows Start Bar on my main monitor and the cursor, could move around and everything but nothing happened when I clicked on anything. Had to hard reset my pc again. This time, I wasn't even working on my larger file, just a small-medium JPEG (although the larger file was also open in another tab) Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? I really don't want to pay for the Photoshop Subscription if this is going to be a common occurance.... Specs: - Windows 10 Home (V10.0.17134 Build 17134) - Processor: Intel i7-4770k - Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 - RAM: 16GB
