Thanks for your response! The Hipstamatic image, attached below, has been formatted with the app's filters. When imported into Affinity the image appears as an empty photo file. Perhaps there is an Affinity iPad app setting to prevent this from occurring.

When importing Hipstamatic edited image from iPad Photos Affinity strips away all Hipstamatic filter edits.
