Pls refer to the gif attached. With command 'start illustrator' in cmd prompt, illustrator program opens. How can we do the same for Affinity programs, in Windows 10/11.

To synchronize defaults to current selection: Select an object with the attributes you wish to save as default settings. From the Edit menu, select Defaults, then Synchronize from selection. Synchronized defaults override saved defaults for this document only. This is a great way to work with a set of defaults temporarily for a single document without having to save them. To save defaults: From the Edit menu, select Defaults, then Save. The defaults used for this document become the global defaults for all future documents. To revert synchronized defaults back to saved defaults: From the Edit menu, select Defaults, then Revert. If vector content is currently selected, its attributes revert to the default settings. To reset defaults to factory settings: From the Edit menu, select Defaults, then Factory Reset. If vector content is currently selected, its attributes revert to the default settings.

Pls provide an option to choose what the default should be. Selection bounds or last / first selected or artboard. Least, give an option to place the flyout menu as a studio panel, so it's always open.

And Stroke width can be adjusted, if it seem thicker as you make the hole radius 100%.

Hai. Please lemme know the difference between rotating an object by its corner handle and rotation handle. (Maybe a trivial question. Was curious.)

It's really that easy NOW in Affinity Designer too. Just toggle the crosshair icon on, and move the rotation center to the position, then power duplicate. Enter 360/no.ofObjects to get the precise angle of rotation. In this example, it was 360/26, that is 13.8°

I downloaded a logo in eps format. How can i import the content in eps file as objects into the document? Placing as an embedded document is inconvenient for me while editing. Unable to ungroup too. Pls lemme know how?

You could select and make into two separate paths by joining the nodes. And select both the paths and Divide. Then apply colors of your liking.
