I have not been able to see the Dehancer Plugin in the Photoshop Plugin directory since 2.2.1. now when i install 2.3.xxx latest today it partially shows up - but doesn't work and throws errors. So who is looking at this? Is it an Affinity Problem or a Dehancer Problem? It worked fine up until version 2.2.1 - then stopped.

background.exr OCIO V2 is implemented, yes. And works. But I caution users. Give up all hope all ye who pass through that portal. It’s a mysterious black art that is not for the faint hearted. Why someone would want to use something so insanely complex I can’t imagine. Maybe it’s just me, but I simply can’t see a wide use for it. Especially when it’s almost impossible to export what you see on the screen to a file. There are NO step by step tutorials on its use.

Some changes just mess things up. I had Dehancer working fine on Affinity Photo, up to the last version update. 2.2.1 I think it is now. Anyway, Affinity Photo now doesn't even see the Plugin, let alone load it. It could also be the Mac OS update? Who knows, there are no error messages, it just doesn't show up in the Options, or even in the Preferences Settings window. And there are no Plugins out there I can find that seem to work either, and I'm now spending a fortune on ON1 to find it doesn't work. I see that Photo now has its own Plugin directory and set up, the "default" location. But nothing to put in it. I'll keep searching....

The help file says this; Other available blend modes include Darken, Darker Color, Lighten, Lighter Color, Color Dodge1, Add, Soft Light, Hard Light, Vivid Light, Pin Light, Linear Light, Linear Burn, Hard Mix, Difference1, Exclusion1, Subtract, Hue2, Saturation2, Luminosity, Color2, Average1, Negation1, Reflect1, Glow1, Contrast Negate, Erase and Passthrough. Helpfully, the common ones are described, but I wondered about the ones above. Normal—The default blend mode. The top pixels display over underlying pixels according to the level of top layer opacity. Multiply—The blending result is a combination of the top and bottom color at each pixel position, always producing a darker value. Screen—The opposite of Multiply, where the blending result is a combination of the inverse of the top and bottom color at each pixel position, always producing a lighter value. Overlay—Applies either Multiply or Screen blend mode, depending on the bottom color at each pixel position. If the bottom layer pixels are <50% gray, it multiplies; if >50% it screens. Divide1—Lower layers are lightened based on luminance on the upper layer. White has no effect. Lightness is increased progressively by gray through to black. Color Burn1—Darkens the bottom color pixels relative to the values of the top color pixels.

So Crop still doesn't allow you to select the cropped part of the image and make it a separate image. Even Crop to Layer would be nice and useful. Dare I say as such it's pretty useless as well. Clip and Unclip Canvas don't seem to serve any useful purpose. The Help file also doesn't have any search capability.
