  1. iPad mini 6. Can’t see Dropbox or any other folders when looking to open files. As you can see from the attached image. When I go to open a file. Could it be the iPad? Or something about Photo. I actually deleted and reinstalled it. Didn’t fix it.
  2. Nice so far, and adding AVIF would be a bonus. So I'm joining the ranks of those asking for it.
  3. And you can rotate an existing document in the Document Setup by ticking or unticking Portrait. In this case set a landscape to Portrait.
  4. One thing that started me on this, I think if I remember correctly, is on export I looked at using a different icc profile, but the option to select another profile is greyed out. I’m not at my desk right now so can’t do a screenshot.
  5. So, I started here. Whatever version of help this is. https://affinity.help/photo/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Clr/ClrProfiles.html&title=Color management and found the instructions there. I'm on the M2Mac Mini. Affinity release 2.4 - the latest. Basically, I'm looking at how to change the icc profile of an imported image.
  6. Ok. Let me rephrase this. The Help document found online states: Prior to opening the file, from Affinity Photo>Preferences>Color, check the Convert opened files to working space option. What I'm looking for is Affinity Photo>Preferences>Colour then Convert opened files to working space What I need to be able to do is open or load a new image and have the colour profile already set. I need to be able to set the working space prior to loading an image. a default. However. Preferences>Colour doesn't seem to exist.
  7. To convert the color space of file to be opened to the current working space: Prior to opening the file, from Affinity Photo>Preferences>Color, check the Convert opened files to working space option. Options exist to warn that a file's working space will be converted, or that an unprofiled file will be assigned the current working space's profile.
  8. It would be really nice if Bleed as an option could be implemented in Photo for new documents. Simple - easy to implement.. Very useful
  9. Thanks Walt. What would be nice is that process being stuffed into the background to run when the app is opened, starting from where it left off for instance so the app can be closed. As it stands, the app can't be closed until its finished, and there is no messaging to let the user know that there is a really really long process taking place, and it could take hours for the app to actually close. Fortunately, it doesn't happen very often. Once per install, I think. But it's disconcerting when it does. A red stop sign could be displayed, with a message saying "Don't close this program until background downloading has completed, and this sign turns Green" Easy.
  10. Let me explain. I don't want to know how to get the EXIF data. That's there and very nice it is too. What I'd like to see is a key combination perhaps, or a tool button, that when pressed will "pop up" the exif data in a little window on the image. Even making it a Layer perhaps so it can be included with an exported image. Toggled on and off maybe? I mean, it can be done like I've done it here, but being a bit lazy... it would be nice if I could just tap a key and it pops onto the screen. Even as text maybe in a caption? As a programmer myself, I'm sure it can be done. Just an idea.
