Does anyone know how to add a k only bar code to a book cover in Designer? The cover is in CMYK. Of course I need to then save  as a pdf without the k-only reverting to four colour.

I am trying to create a pdf for commercial print. I have added 3mm bleed all round but cannot add tick marks. How do I do this?
