Letters/shapes cut out of paper effect
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I'm looking to create an effect that looks as though some letter-shaped holes have been cut out of a piece of paper, and a light is shining through from behind the paper. The closest example I can find is this... can anyone help? Thanks!
