Bingo! Thank-you Patrick!! Yes, one layer, which has been there since the last iteration of this file, seems to have messed everything up. Thank-you so much for your timely help! The offending layer was an embedded PDF, which was my titleblock exported from AutoCAD.

Just downloaded the newest. Still no way to update applied styles? What am I missing? Object styles are virtually unusable if they can't be modified once applied.

Being able to make a simple selection of an embedded file should be separate from editing it. This absolutely limits the usefulness of the program as a flat rendering tool for AutoCAD files, which need to stay embedded as they are edited throughout the design process. Or at least that's how my workflow/process works.

I'm sure it's on the to-do list, but some more functionality for the Object Styles would be great - being able to update the style that is already used throughout, would be a start. I saw one other topic that said styles are not currently linked to objects, which means that currently "styles" is more of a shortcut to applying one-off mods. Looking forward to the full version! And I'm sure it's covered elsewhere, but in case not, manipulating inserted images within text frames is a bit cumbersome at the moment. Rotating is fine, scaling could use some handles, etc. You could one-up InDesign by having some easy to apply common filters for those images. The K-only button is a great feature! Add a vignette, adjust contrast, etc. would save a step in the workflow (image mods in Photo). Otherwise, I'm super thrilled to be using this product!

I'm having the same or a similar problem. I can't install the update, or even the full beta. Yes I've restarted. I have 1809 windows, and I've been running Publisher Beta for a while. I need this program! Any help would be appreciated. The notification is attached herein.

I'd love to have the option of "aligning to inside/outside margin" when creating text styles, instead of just left and right. This is of specific help when doing headers and footers. By the way, I'm beyond thrilled to have an alternative to Adobe CS. I'm beside myself! Thank you a million times over.
