[Changing of UI colors]

Is there a way of changing the UI colors in the layers area? The ones I marked on attached image.

These colors are totally confusing me. I'm lost in space when I need to find an object in the layers. I know about Ctrl+K shortcut but I didn't used to using it. I will work on it. But in the mean time, if I could change these colors it would be helpful. Light UI Style is less confusing but it's light  I need it to be dark and functional, if possible.

I need this too. 

Or, would rich black be a solution? In a sense that if I need some black to be KO I can make it as rich black instead of 100%K. Would that work?
