  1. My apologies. I should have mentioned that, before posting here, I tried renaming the APB-exported file. "Tif" worked no better than "tiff." Likewise unsuccessful was changing the extension from "tiff" to "tif" before exporting from APB, which I tried in response to your post. In doing so, however, I discovered that, in SilkyPix, the File/Open approach to displaying and opening files showed the APB file name, but not the image.
  2. My current workflow with images from my Panasonic LX100M2 involves culling in FastRawViewer, developing in SilkyPix Developer Studio 8 SE, and, when it seems necessary or desirable, doing additional editing in Affinity Photo Beta (with the latest build, now 1.7.0293). My computer is running Windows 10. After working on an image in Affinity Photo or Affinity Photo Beta, I can export the result as a JPEG and see it in SilkyPix. Likewise, I can export the resulting image from Affinity Photo as a TIFF and see it in SilkyPix. But a TIFF exported from Affinity Photo Beta cannot be seen in SilkyPix, even though I can see it in FastStone Image Viewer and FRV. I hope this glitch can be addressed before the beta process is completed. TIA
  3. After using FRV to select a raw image to develop and edit, I have FRV pass it on to SilkyPix. Once developed in SilkyPix, and if I think it needs further work, I save/export the image as a tif and work on it in Affinity. (The free Panasonic-only version of SilkyPix doesn't allow for opening an image directly in another program.) Inconveniently, however, neither the beta nor regular versions of Affinity Photo see the RW2 images. Instead, when using File/Open, the program sees an icon that says "RW2" and shows the shot number, e.g., P1000321.RW2. Fortunately, double-clicking on the icon opens the image in both Affinity Photo and Affinity Photo Beta. Although this problem doesn't prevent me from using Affinity, if there's an existing solution I'd like to know what it is. TIA
  4. As a prospective customer, it’s unclear to me whether the Panasonic LX100 II currently is supported by either the commercial v. 1.6 or the 1.7 beta. According to a November 27, 2018, post by moderator Dan C, the Windows version of Affinity Photo, which I would need, uses LibRaw. According to a December 13, 2018, blog entry by lexa at libraw.org, as of December 12, 2018, LibRaw supports the LX100M2. But I can’t find anything from Serif or about Affinity Photo that speaks on or after December 12, 2018, and says whether the LX100M2 is supported. If it is supported, which program version(s) support it and what is the nature/extent of the support? If the LX100M2 isn’t currently supported for Windows, in light of its reported support by LibRaw, when will it be? Also, as it’s not possible to try-out the iPad version, can it be confirmed that, because Apple lists the LX100M2 as supported under IOS 12 that Affinity Photo for the iPad indeed supports the camera? Thank you.
