I keep looking for a template facility in Affinity Publisher similar to what was in PagePlus. I would like to easily and quickly be able to select a template for a document without having to go through a list of parameters. I still keep a copy of PagePlus around for some tasks for that reason. I would like to get rid of PagePlus and do all my creating of forms and documents in Affinity Publisher. Am I missing something that already exists?

A week or so back I thought it was high time I applied myself to making use of Publisher. Here's a spoof magazine cover (you'll have to wait a l-o-n-g time for the articles!). I left it a while before I went back to see if it was good to go, or needed any changes. I decided to add the apps' logos -- which I had to make myself in AD; they're vectors, so I can rescale them for future use.
Anyway, see what you make of this. Any helpful criticism is welcome!

I have produced a pdf version of the Affinity Photo manual that you can read without starting the program. It can be interesting to put it on your phone or tablet to read when you have some time to spare. Since the file is too big to upload here, I have put it on Dropbox for you to download.
