I often use Publisher to combine different PDF documents. This has worked well so far. With version 2.3.x and higher, I now regularly have error messages that lead to the export being canceled. At first I looked for the cause in the documents and sometimes I could actually find an inconsistency. Irritated, I installed a version 2.2.x and suddenly the export works perfectly again.
Since I don't know what exactly was changed in the PDF export between version 2.2 and 2.3, I can't narrow down the problem with a reasonable amount of time. The fact is, however, that I will probably be forced to stick with 2.2 for the time being.
