Good to know that with Font Installation, can use the Folder Group at least. But wonder about the actual Text “Highlighting and Insertion Marker” Specifically, where you Tap to insert the Cursor within Text Characters…it seems to be a bit chaotic and sporadic, not placing the cursor where designated with the Apple Pencil or Finger consistently. When Highlighting/Selecting Text…the blue selection area Endpoints are also often difficult to manipulate. More specifically when attempting to include or not include words by dragging the selection.

There is a Text Ruler you can optionally select in Preview Mode…which is used for Text Frames. Make sure option is set to ‘On’ in preview, then draw out your Text Frame….Ruler with Insertion Guies et should appear at to of Frame. Dont see where a standard Ruler (such as in Photo or Designer) can be added.

No worries. Seems like it should work all the same. Just a simple graphic image though, correct? Type of image/object?

Tried in Designer V2 on iPad. Doesn’t work. ‘Can create the Path, and insert Text easy enough. But copy/paste for an object doesn’t do anything.

No worries. With so many new differences….like the simple Long-Press on many things…and not being told, how’re we supposed to know? We’re not Telepaths!😂

Same hopes as you. ‘Otherwise it is just a glorified Color Picker like the one in the Color Panel.

This. Just actually exported the old iOS Icon Assets that were in ADesign V1 to a folder, then imported into V2. Works fine.

Curious to know…as can’t find it, or if it exists anymore…where the Display Mode is located? This would be for visually seeing only the Curves and Paths of Vector work, without fills etc. Know one could simple turn Fills Off in Layers Panel, but there was a selectable Display Mode that could shift between what was seen…. or was that Desktop only?

More so on the Artists creating the Artwork side, like this wonderful piece…not wanting them to step on any toes.✌️

Can confirm this, though sporadically, and cannot really specify causes between all three apps. Is definitely more than V1 of Photo and Designer ever did….of course cannot say about Publisher, as it just released but know it has crashed when simply creating a new document, and walking through the settings (much less working on documents). For the most part, still pleased though…and have V1 of the two others if needed.

Love the image…and idea of 1 page Narrative! ‘Agree the Font is nice and clean as well. Just keep in mind, from what I read on that Font…it is Free for Personal use only, have to contact the creator for any Commercial use.

Saw someone had done the new Affinity Photo/Design/Pub V2 Logos…and thought I’d have a crack at it. Created in Designer, Vector…of Standard Logo…with some variants. Free to use if you’d like….give me credit for the designing at least but no matter! Hope they’re useful… Enjoy! UPDATE: Just wanted to add the Affinity Icons Assets file, so you can utilize them easily as an assets collection. Enjoy! Glad some things got sorted! Love the look of the project you’re working on! Are you trying to get the Full size Keyboard? If so…instead of an inward pinch with 2 fingers, do an outward pinch (away from center)…and a full size key board should remain. Can pinch on keyboard again if wanting it small again. Watch some Publisher Tutorials on YouTube Channel by Elaine Giles, she covers Publisher really well. Though most of her content is on Affinity V1…the principles and concepts remain the same…and most all of the Tools etc …minus the newest ones of course…but she’s already begun on V2, so won’t be long. Understandable. Preferences vary. A lot of people have a lot of different preferences.

Definitely an issue…but I tend to use my left hand to alter/control the Size, while Painting…similarly as I do in Procreate. ‘Allows you to vary the size while Painting…unless wanting to maintain for precision, of course. ‘Still should be elsewhere, if not ability to be place elsewhere.

For that Feature…was wondering if it worked or not if one has an external keyboard. Don’t have one, can never check or use shortcuts other than with new Modifier button now.

I’d like to know why. Though I understand why they did…and don’t understand why they did all the same. Being able to Save/Save As while in and working on Document is just simple Workflow convenience….not having to Exit the document to do so, just to go back in.
