  1. Excellent Tutorial! The information and presentation (noting inclusions by Traditional Artworks by Artists, to support), very well done and easy to follow. Kudos!
  2. Nice. May wish to differentiate Desktop only... as not possible to use Equations or create many types of Presets on iPad version.
  3. Was a nice display of information visually, even in original version... was easily comprehensible... bit of difference on iPad, but still easy for someone to get the idea. Nice updates though.
  4. Pretty straightforward what Share your Work and Tutorials is for and about. Along with the idea that these are on a Forum, intended for Discussion. If simply asked of process to create, then can create a further interest alongside discussion in the subject. If one is merely wanting to showcase, then so be it... take it for what it is. If wanting further info... simply engage in discussion, rather than ‘Likes’ alone.
  5. What Tutorials...who made them... Serif Developers or a general User posting their own? If Serif themselves, I’d contact them directly. If a User created Tutorial... suggest Commenting on their Post for it. Right now not really clear of ‘who, what, when where’.
  6. Extremely well done! If only I had this so fluidly laid out years..........years ago. Surely needs to be read in depth for all new users, will help them a lot beyond typical manuals and videos. ‘Should make an Alternate...using much of same but for iPad platform UI, as well.
  7. Yet another reason for wishing my Affinity Collection could be complete, with Publisher finally coming to iPad. 😢 I know Meatloaf says, “2 outta 3 ain’t bad”..... but still sad. Of course a Fine Model... always helps an App look good!✌️ Also loving the Ink Design works of Gringo and Latos...the Colors are a bit too vibrant for me, but love Ricco’s Designs.... and who knew Chromatic Aberration.3D could work so well on Inks!
  8. Very nice... and now I am thirsty! Aside of things mentioned by Dannyg9... The condensation droplets on outside of glass, need a bit more differentiation or defining.. as they appear inside the glass with the liquid, bubbles, ice. Perhaps, just another type of Layer Blend or not as a Child Layer. On the Glass, perhaps a Duplicate of the Thin Sheen line used for opposite side (as is), maybe adding another as well ‘on the sunny side’..but with the same vibrancy in Tone as the Large Sheen on back of glass. Maybe a Contour Gradient Outline of Main Text, using Color chosen and lighter White Tint...can add a similarity to the Droplets and such, Compositionally. Just little things, but like it.
  9. Nice explanation and Tutorial.... love outside the box thinking like this. Now if only Publisher would come out for iPad...
  10. Really well done! Clean design, nice composition ...and like the subtly added flair, rather than overly dramatic. Allows it to impact on it own. ‘Kinda agree with Mark Freeman... more so in just way the Outline of the Font ‘Umsec’ is, in regards to placement with the ‘Shield’. On the ending ‘C’, is a noticeable difference how it aligns on top of the shield..as opposed to the beginning ‘U’. Know, it’s a simple, obvious difference of the letter’s shapes... but some thickening, or more prominence of the ‘Umsec’ might help (just the actual Letters, not outline- as outline should just follow suit). Also add a slight bit of prominence in size differentiation in both ‘Umsec’ and ‘Ums Esport......’. Not necessary, but if were me... I’d also do some kind of diagonal, angled-lined motion blurs of sorts on the Background image. Not as an overall...but with separation between. To give more of a narrative type special effect impact, referencing the Esports... or sense of motion, action type of activity or involvement.
  11. Yes, if wanting Live over Destructive... have to select. You’ll see similar setup for Desktop even.... on Desktop version, there are basically 2 Dropdown Menus on their Toolbar for Filters- Regular (Destructive) and Live. (Can see in most Video Tutorials made). So not really a ‘fixed setting’... as depends on situation. Advantages ...really boils down to individual situation, or personal preference. Sometimes may just need a ‘quick application’, and not intending to Edit/Re-Edit later on. Many have just not been Developed yet, possibly.... such as Liquify- which just got the Live Filter capability in the 1.9 Update (not available Live prior). Yet some are just not possible... though a simple Undo, to revert back out of any Filter Adjustments made..means only damaging permanently if left to exist. Is really up to you, and your workflow... or if needed a version, but keep Original intact as is (Archiving?).
  12. That is an Older Video Tutorial for iPad, when it was first released. In the current Affinity Photo for iPad version ...the ‘thunderbolt’ was removed from the individual Filter Display Panels. It is now a matter of selecting Live Filters, as an optional Toggle Button near the top of the Filters Panel, when opening to select a Filter. What you should/will also notice when ‘toggling’ the Live Filter option On or Off... is that not all Filters are capable of being Live. The choices between Live and Regular(Destructive) changes when toggled. Is a better way of differentiating beforehand... what is possible as a Live Filter, and what is not. So you don’t find yourself in the middle of using one...go through all the trouble, only to find out after the fact, or will be only possible Destructively- need to resort to another method. Also, there is an option for changing the Panel View, by selecting the ‘3 Bar icon near top right.... to display a List View (for easier search use).
  13. + 1.. Adding my vote, mainly to the Palette import. Seems to be an obvious missing feature, and so easy to to have been implemented..same as Macros (even is just as a file). A simple ‘Drag/Drop’ from the main Color selected (next to the Eyedropper) would suffice tremendously even, at least be something. Works in Procreate.
  14. Very nice...and well done! Love the looks and design on the smaller versions best, though. The larger main one, seems to be fighting the 3D effects... perhaps just not following as seems it should, given the design. Great job though.
  15. Nice. Now only if they’d only come out with the Publisher on iPad.
  16. Nicely done! Has all the elements of a broadcast.
  17. Here is a learning/tutorial I created for Understanding Pattern Layer and Pixel Quality, and using Photos. Made using Affinity Photo on iPad Pro (mainly for iPad users- but concepts apply to any version). Is merely a BASIC relay of information and steps....know there are more advanced aspects, but mainly for beginners or even advanced users to better get a gist of what’s going on, and how to get better results. Primarily focuses on the use of Hi Res Photo Images, and how to use them for some amazing results making use of the Pattern Layer feature. ‘Again, know it is basic....but hopefully can help! Video is available on my YouTube Channel, with many others https://www.youtube.com/user/StudioJason69
  18. Very Nice! Rich and playful...makes you want to visit or keep as a pet!
  19. Nice....love the simplicity. Though hope it’s a ‘beautiful’...not ‘beatiful’ cats!🤪✌️
  20. Much better, as to the atmospheric quality and spatial relationships...though I wouldn’t completely forego the nice ‘Blues’ that were in the original. Perhaps some ‘fade outs’ of the overall Yellow Tone...such as with a Gradient- clear/none top, to reveal Bluish sky...then into the Yellowish, at bottom. Or, by way of Mask- to hide/reveal by Brush, subtly. Not so..complete coverage. Looking good though Figure-wise...as light source seems better matching.
  21. Nicely captured and done! Especially love the distinct separation of foreground/background, adds a lot of depth.... and crispness of the snow in the 3rd image, as well.
  22. Can you feel it... now that Spring is coming... and it’s, time to live in the... iPad Publisher Sun... Waiting for the iPad Publisher Sun... Waiting for the iPad Publisher Sun... Waiting...for... the... iPad Publisher Sun.☀️🌞☀️
