  1. Photoshop hasn't been running too poorly for me, but Illustrator has been virtually unusable. It freezes all the time, and it causes a lot of visual artifacts when scrolling and zooming. Switching to Affinity Designer has been great. It's faster, it goes into fullscreen, it's non-destructive in ways that Illustrator isn't, and it's very stable. Affinity Photo also ticks all of the same boxes and does everything I need to do, with the exception of animated gifs. I don't think you can create them in Affinity Photo, at least not in the way that you can in Photoshop. So unless I need to build out an image with the Timeline, I never open Photoshop. movies 123 movies
