  1. My printer service says 150 dpi is the lowest, but I've always been told it should be at least 300dpi for better quality. I'm lost at too how other people are able to print such large items like shower curtains and king size blankets of their art work and it comes out so clear and crisp. I will try some of your advice! Thanks!
  2. Hi, I'm a newbie to learning this type of software. I would like to know how I can increase the size (pixels) very large for printing my art onto blankets. So over 1000 pix. I need it to still have very good quality when printed. The dpi on my photo's of my art are 300 and were taken with a D3400 Nikon, raw. I have been fine with printing smaller items like pillow cases and the dpi and quality is great. But to do these large items I need to adjust my photo's. Please, any advice is appreciated!
  3. Hi all, Newbie here... I am currently doing the Affinity Photo trial as well as the Designer Trial so I can decide which is the best fit for what I need. (Please know that I am in the dark with all the Photo shop programs out there and have never been able to learn Adobe, hence the reason I am trying Affinity. Right now I am doing baby steps trying to learn these programs. Could someone tell me how I can increase the DPI and keep the size, as well as improve the quality of a photo taken 15 yrs ago using a simple Sony quick pic type camera. Over all I would like to learn how to improve photos so they can be proper for printing onto larger items/canvas. I do have a much newer Nikon dslr camera now and can take awesome photos, but now I came across some older ones that have beautiful content, but just need a "face lift" so to speak..any tips or direction to a video would be very helpful. I have already spent about a week learning Designer....but i think it is the wrong program for me. I also need to learn how to add multiple photo's together and grouped..also for printing purposes. Cheers!
