I don't think so, it might be better to do a fine grade selection and then apply selective color changes or some other recoloring method here. - I did just a rough quick'n'dirty selection try here and then used selective color on neutral colors, you can custom other tones like yellow too (I didn't)...

My (very!) quick & dirty approach was to duplicate the photo, add a mask to the dup so only the grass is affected, & add an HSL shift adjustment to that, mostly on the yellows, & adjust the duplicate layer opacity & blend mode. I am not particularly happy with the results, but everything about it is non-destructive & can be tweaked to improve it.
P.S. I hope she said yes!
